The Tale of “Famous Chef” and “Standing-up Comedian”

The Tale of "Famous Chef” and "Standing-up Comedian”

First things first, it’s been a long time since Queen “Anushka” was seen on Tollywood silver screen, It’s good to see her back in the regular commercial cinema of tollywood. And as Mr.Polishetty cast by “Naveen Polishetty”, played the lead role.

The taking of the movie is straightforward, as the plot begins in the UK and slowly moves towards India due to undeniable circumstances played around by Ms.Shetty a “Famous” chef in the UK who was still single in her late 30s. On the other hand, Mr.Shetty was a shitty 9 to 6 software employee but a wannabe Stand up comedian with wits. The movie was well established within the first 20 minutes of the runtime and clear to the audience what they were about to see and enjoy the rest of the story.

Ms. Shetty’s troublesome childhood made up her mind that love can be found only through mom -child relationship and never believed in love with her life partner and decided to have a child without physical touch involving medical procedures. In the process, she encountered the fact that she needed a very eligible “Person” to forward the characteristics to her baby. Now after reaching out to several people fate made Ms.Shetty and Mr.Polishetty meet each other. As Ms.Shetty needed to study Mr.Polishetty she offered him a chance at a stand-up comedy show in her working chain of hotels and was an instant hit. In the process, polishetty feels that Ms.Shetty is in love with him and makes him Propose to Ms.Shetty.

What happened next? Did Ms.Shetty accept Polishetty’s proposal or did her Idea of “no partner only child” take place???  Plays rest as the crux of the story.

Positives:

1. Energy of Naveen Polishetty and his Timing.

2. Return Of Anushka

3. Excellent Bgm.

4. Screenplay and Cinematography.

Negatives:

1. No catchy songs

2. Interesting, but easily guessable plot.

3. Reachable most to multiplex audiences.

Verdict:  Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty” is a delightful emotional comedy-drama with standout performances by Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty, along with a commendable score and emotional moments. However, the film seems to be affected by slow pacing in both halves, which might impact the overall viewing experience. Slow pacing can sometimes affect the audience’s engagement with the story and characters. Despite this challenge, the film seems to have strong elements that make it worth watching, particularly the performances and emotional aspects.
