Telugu star Nani is making headlines with his confident remarks ahead of two major releases under his banner. While he presents the courtroom drama ‘Court: State vs. A Nobody’, he is also starring in and co-producing the action-thriller ‘HIT 3’. At a recent event, Nani made a daring statement, urging audiences to watch ‘Court’ first.
“If you don’t like ‘Court,’ then don’t watch ‘HIT 3,’” he declared, emphasizing his trust in the film’s content. He also mentioned that this is the first time he is personally asking viewers to watch his movie. His statement aims to create intrigue and draw attention to both films.
‘Court – State vs. A Nobody’ revolves around a young married couple’s legal battle, with actor Priyadarshi playing a determined lawyer fighting against injustice. The film features an ensemble cast, including Harsh Roshan, Sridevi, Sivaji, Sai Kumar, Rohini, Harsha Vardhan, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Surabhi Prabhavathi. The trailer has received a positive response, and the film will hit theaters on March 14, 2025, followed by a Netflix release in multiple languages.
On the other hand, ‘HIT 3,’ directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, will feature Nani as Arjun Sarkaar, a fearless officer known for his intense approach. This highly anticipated sequel is set for release on May 1, 2025.
‘Dilruba’ Producer Makes a High-Stakes Promise
Meanwhile, producer Ravi, who is backing ‘Dilruba,’ made an even bolder statement. He claimed that the film’s action sequences are so impactful that fans will tear the theater screens apart. Taking his confidence a step further, he challenged critics by saying, “If you don’t like the fights, physically beat me up at the press meet.” He added that if ‘Dilruba’ fails, he will never produce another movie.
‘Dilruba,’ directed by Viswa Karun, features Kiran Abbavaram, Rukshar Dhillon, and Kathy Davison in lead roles. Jointly produced by Sivam Celluloid Production and Saregama’s Yoodle Film, the movie is packed with action, romance, and drama. Satya and Aadukalam Naren also play key roles. The film is set for a March 14, 2025 release.
Marketing Gimmick or Genuine Confidence?
Both Nani and Ravi’s statements seem to be strategic marketing moves aimed at drawing audiences to theaters. In an era where OTT platforms dominate, filmmakers face a tough challenge in pulling viewers away from home screens. These dramatic statements create buzz, but ultimately, the success of any film depends on its content.
With both ‘Court’ and ‘Dilruba’ releasing this week, it remains to be seen whose words hold power at the box office.
