She planned to attend the event with her co-star and friend Junaid. Before the party, Shalini received a message from Aamir Khan. In the text, Aamir asked if she was attending the celebration. Not recognizing the sender, Shalini replied, asking him to identify himself. Aamir responded, saying he was “Junaid’s dad.”
Initially, Shalini didn’t realize who Junaid’s dad was and replied, “Who’s Junaid’s dad?” Aamir clarified he was Aamir Khan, and Shalini instantly felt embarrassed. She quickly apologized, but Aamir laughed it off, joking, “Of course, I am your uncle; I am Junaid’s dad!” Shalini explained that she momentarily forgot who Junaid’s father was, which led to the confusion.
