Veteran actor Anupam Kher has officially joined Prabhas for his milestone 544th film, which is currently in production. Titled Fauji, the movie is being directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

Anupam Kher shared the news on social media with pictures featuring Prabhas, Hanu Raghavapudi, and cinematographer Sudip Chatterjee. He expressed his excitement, saying, “Delighted to announce my 544th untitled film with the #Bahubali of #IndianCinema, the one and only #Prabhas! Fauji – A Period War Drama
Reports suggest that Fauji is a period action-romance film set in the pre-independence era. Prabhas is expected to play a soldier in the British Army, possibly linked to Subhash Chandra Bose’s Azad Hind Fauj.
The project was officially launched on August 17 with a traditional pooja ceremony. Vishal Chandrasekhar, known for his work in Sita Ramam, is composing the music and background score.
