Mega Prince Varun Tej, after taking a brief break, has officially locked his next project with director Merlapaka Gandhi. Marking the actor’s birthday, the makers of his 15th film surprised fans with an exciting title and glimpse announcement.
The film has been titled Korean Kanakaraju (KOKA), and the newly released glimpse has instantly grabbed attention. It begins with Satya being interrogated by Korean police, who question him about the protagonist. Ritika Nayak soon appears and starts narrating the mysterious events that unfolded.
This sets the stage for Varun Tej’s striking mass entry. Dressed in a dhoti, holding a katana, and sporting a Lord Shiva tattoo on his hand, he goes on a rampage, creating absolute mayhem. However, the narrative takes an unexpected turn when it is revealed that the chaos is not caused by Varun Tej himself, but by a spirit that has possessed him. The identity of this spirit and the reason behind its choice remain a mystery, to be unraveled on the big screen.
The glimpse presents Varun Tej in a never-before-seen mass avatar, hinting at a refreshing new phase in his career. Audiences are eager to see how he navigates this powerful and unconventional role. Korean Kanakaraju is jointly produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, with Thaman composing the music. The film is slated for a theatrical release this summer.
