No OTT Release Before 56 Days
Speculations about Pushpa 2 streaming on January 9, 2024, have been dismissed. Mythri Movie Makers clarified that the film will not be available on OTT platforms before 56 days from its theatrical release. They tweeted: “Enjoy the Biggest Film #Pushpa2 only on Big Screens this Holiday Season. It won’t be on OTT before 56 days! It’s #WildFirePushpa only in Theatres Worldwide.”
With this announcement, it’s now expected that Pushpa 2 will stream online in February. An official date for the OTT release will be revealed later.
Box Office Records and Achievements
The movie is setting new benchmarks in Indian cinema. The Hindi version has amassed ₹632.5 crore, surpassing Stree 2’s collections. Globally, Pushpa 2 has earned over ₹1,500 crore in just 15 days, making it the fastest film to achieve this milestone. It has also overtaken the lifetime collections of Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2, and Jawan for their Hindi versions.
The film is now aiming to surpass Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the second-highest-grossing Indian movie ever, with Dangal still leading at ₹2,000 crore worldwide.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues the story of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler, and his fierce rivalry with police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil. Rashmika Mandanna stars as Srivalli, Pushpa’s wife.
Released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali, the film has enthralled audiences worldwide.
