On July 7th, Sai Dharam Tej drew the attention of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, TG Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu and AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan to an objectionable viral video clip wherein we see Praneeth Hanumanthu and two other men indulging in pedophilic content. The ‘Virupaksha’ actor urged the authorities to take legal action against Praneeth.
Following SDT’s tweet, the Telangana CM and Deputy CM promised action against Praneeth. After SDT, Adivi Sesh, Manchu Manoj and Nara Rohit, too, have called for Praneeth’s arrest.
Who is Praneeth? He is a content creator quite popular among a section of social media users. Lately, he is also landing film offers. Most recently, he was seen in a two-scene cameo in Sudheer Babu’s ‘Harom Hara’. Before the release of ‘Hi Nanna’ last year, he did a promotional interview with Natural Star Nani. He also did an interview with Kartikeya Gummakonda before the release of ‘Bhaje Vaayu Vegam’. He is the son of an IAS officer and brother of the well-known YouTuber Aye Jude.
Praneeth’s arrest looks imminent now that the Telangana government has taken note of his deplorable content. He looks properly cooked. If only he didn’t become unhinged, he would have had a thriving career in the film industry as a character artist, perhaps.
