Teja Sajja’s ‘Mirai’ Gets a New Release Date

Teja Sajja’s much-awaited action-adventure film Mirai has been rescheduled for release on August 1, 2025. Originally set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, the film’s postponement ensures it avoids a box office clash with Prabhas’ horror-comedy ‘The Raja Saab,’ which is releasing on April 10, 2025.

Why Was ‘Mirai’ Postponed?

The delay was officially announced by film trade analyst Ramesh Bala on social media. Sharing the new release date and a striking poster of Teja Sajja as the Super Yodha, he wrote, “Mark the date. #MIRAI August 1, 2025. The rise of #SuperYodha begins in theatres worldwide. Get ready to witness a breathtaking action-adventure on the big screen.”

While the exact reason for the postponement has not been disclosed, it is speculated that the decision was made to maximize audience reach and box office potential by avoiding a direct clash with Prabhas’ much-anticipated film.

Last year, on Teja Sajja’s birthday, the film’s production company People Media Factory shared his first look from Mirai on social media. The poster showcased Teja in a gravity-defying pose with an intense expression, fully embodying his character of Super Yodha.

Their caption read, “Strap in for an adrenaline ride. The #SuperYodha is born. Team #MIRAI wishes the SUPER HERO, @tejasajja123, a very splendid birthday. Get ready to experience the Action-Adventure in cinemas on 18th APRIL 2025 ~ 2D & 3D.”

What to Expect from ‘Mirai’

Mirai is directed by Karthik Gattamneni and stars Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Ritika Nayak in lead roles. It is an action-packed fantasy adventure that revolves around a warrior protecting nine sacred scriptures that have the power to transform humans into deities.

The film boasts a talented team, with dialogues penned by Manibabu Karanam, ensuring engaging and impactful storytelling.
