‘Maa Nanna Superhero’, starring Sudheer Babu in the lead role, will arrive at the cinemas on October 11th. Director Abhilash Reddy Kankara has cast Aarna as the female lead.
Usually, family dramas stick to a certain tried-and-tested template. They don’t try risking it with unpopular themes. ‘Maa Nanna Superhero’, though, seems to be bold in a certain respect. The emotionally disturbing fact of the male lead having to make peace with two fathers has been explored. This is the most unconventional storyline in Sudheer Babu’s filmography, on the face of it.
Sayaji Shinde and Sai Chand (seen in ‘Fidaa’) play the two dads. The former has had friction with the male lead. The film also features Raju Sundaram, Shashank, Aamani, Chandra Vempaty, and Annie.

V Celluloids and CAM Entertainment are attempting something interesting.
Cinematographer Sameer Kalyani has captured the visuals, while Jay Krish has composed the music. Anil Kumar P has edited the film. Raju Sundaram has choreographed the dance sequences. The screenplay is a collaborative effort by writers MVS Bharadwaj, Shravan Madala, and Abhilash Kankara.
