The producers of Pushpa 2, Mythri Movie Makers, have extended their support to the family of Revathi, who tragically lost her life in the Sandhya Theatre stampede during the movie’s premiere. On Monday, producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar visited the hospital where Revathi’s son Sritej is being treated. They handed over a ₹50 lakh cheque to Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar, in the presence of Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
Speaking to the media, Naveen expressed grief over the incident. He called the death of Revathi a tragic loss and emphasized their commitment to helping the family. He added, “This is just a small gesture to support them during this difficult time.”

Husband Clarifies Allu Arjun’s Role
Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar, addressed rumors regarding Allu Arjun’s involvement in the tragedy. In a media statement, Bhaskar confirmed that the actor was not responsible for the stampede. He explained that his son, a devoted fan of Allu Arjun, had insisted on attending the movie premiere.
Bhaskar revealed that he felt uncomfortable with the narrative that blamed Allu Arjun for the incident. He shared that the actor had been supporting the family since the second day after the tragedy. Bhaskar also expressed his desire to withdraw the case he had filed, stating, “We do not have the strength to fight for justice. This was simply our bad luck.”
Health Update on Revathi’s Son
Doctors at KIMS Hospital provided an update on Sritej’s condition. They reported that his health is stable, and he no longer needs a ventilator. While his fever persists, his blood cell levels are improving, and he is now able to eat. However, his nervous system remains unresponsive, and treatment is ongoing.
