Odela 2 Pre-Release Business Breaks Records, Boosted by Tamannaah Bhatia and Sampath Nandi’s Power

The much-awaited spiritual thriller Odela 2, starring Tamannaah Bhatia, will hit the big screens on April 17, 2025. Ashok Teja directs the film, and Sampath Nandi writes the screenplay. As the sequel to Odela Railway Station, it is already making waves with its record-breaking pre-release business.

In a major update, Shankar Pictures’ Shankar and Suresh Reddy Kovvuri bought the theatrical rights for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and overseas for Rs. 10 crores, showcasing the film’s strong demand in the market.

The makers also secured over Rs. 18 crores from non-theatrical rights, excluding Telugu satellite rights. This brings the total pre-release business to a massive Rs. 28 crores. Talks for the Telugu satellite rights are currently in progress, and a leading TV channel is likely to close the deal at a premium price.

Strong Hype Driven by Powerful Names and Bold Promotions

The success of Odela 2 before release highlights the value of Sampath Nandi’s brand and Tamannaah Bhatia’s stardom. Even in a challenging market, the team captured attention with a gripping teaser, tight storytelling, and aggressive promotional strategies.

To build further excitement, the makers will host a grand event on April 8 at Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy Theatre, where they will unveil both Telugu and Hindi trailers. This bold move will push the film’s reach into multiple language markets.

Producer Madhu, under the banners of Sampath Nandi Team Works and Madhu Creations, invested Rs. 25 crores into making Odela 2. The film delivers a supernatural thriller experience packed with high-quality VFX to engage the audience visually. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music to intensify the film’s gripping tone.

Trade analysts already see Odela 2 as a profitable venture, thanks to early earnings and growing buzz. With Sampath Nandi overseeing the project creatively, the film has gained major trust and attention. All eyes now turn to its theatrical release, which promises a potential blockbuster.
