In a much-anticipated collaboration, the formidable duo of Hero Aadhi Pinisetty and director Arivazhagan, who previously delivered a superhit with ‘Vaishali,’ have come together once again for another spellbinding supernatural crime thriller titled ‘Shabdam.’ The movie, produced jointly by 7G Films Siva and Aalpha Frames, with co-producer S Banupriya Siva, has already generated significant buzz for its high production values and intriguing premise.
To mark Aadhi Pinisetty’s birthday, the makers unveiled the first look poster of ‘Shabdam,’ with the honor of the launch bestowed upon none other than Natural Star Nani. The captivating poster features the protagonist engrossed in recording mysterious sounds against a backdrop of numerous birds soaring through the sky. Aadhi, donning spectacles, appears deeply involved in his work, with a camera and flashlights hinting at the eerie ambiance. The first-look poster successfully creates an air of curiosity and anticipation for the movie.
Director Arivazhagan, actor Aadhi, and music director Thaman S reunite for this highly anticipated project, promising a cinematic experience that transcends conventional boundaries.
While their previous collaboration, ‘Vaishali,’ featured rain-soaked scenes, ‘Sabdham’ takes audiences to the mountains and tourist locations, offering a fresh visual experience. Notably, the film introduces special scenes revolving around sound, adding a unique dimension to the narrative.
‘Shabdam’ has been extensively shot in and around Mumbai, Munnar, and Chennai, with a particular highlight being the construction of a 120-year-old library set, created with a budget of Rs 2 crore for a pivotal interval sequence. To enhance the film’s auditory appeal, music director Thaman plans to travel to Hungary, where he will craft unique sound effects and the background score.
The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Simran, Laila, Lakshmi Menon, Redin Kingsley, MS Bhaskar, and Rajeev Menon, each playing pivotal roles. The technical team, led by DOP Arun Padmanaban, National award-winning editor Sabu Joseph, and art director Manoj Kumar, ensures that ‘Shabdam’ is a visual and auditory spectacle.
As ‘Shabdam’ gears up for its release, audiences can expect a riveting cinematic experience that combines supernatural elements, crime, and an immersive soundscape.
