Maruthi Confirms Prabhas Is Safe After Japan Earthquake

A massive earthquake, reported between 7.5 and 7.6 magnitude, struck off Japan’s northeastern coast, triggering tsunami warnings for Aomori, Iwate, and Hokkaido prefectures. As the news spread, concern quickly grew among fans of Indian superstar Prabhas.

The actor, along with producer Shobu Yarlagadda, is currently in Japan for special premiere screenings of Baahubali: The Epic. The event concluded successfully, with Prabhas interacting warmly with fans. However, once reports of the earthquake surfaced online, anxious fans began seeking updates on the actor’s safety.

Director Maruthi took to X to clarify the situation and put all worries to rest. “Spoke to Darling. He is not in Tokyo and doing safe. No worries,” he wrote, confirming that Prabhas is completely safe.

Fans are relieved with the update and are hoping for his safe return to India. Once back, Prabhas is expected to resume shooting for Spirit and begin pre-release promotions for his upcoming film The Raja Saab.
