Manchu Manoj Alleges ‘Brainwashing’ of His Mother Amid University Clash

Manchu Manoj Alleges, Mohan Babu University, wife Mounika, HRD Minister Nara Lokesh,

Tensions ran high on January 15 at Mohan Babu University (MBU) in Tirupati when actor Manchu Manoj was denied entry to the campus. The police, enforcing court orders, stopped him at the gates, leading to a heated exchange. Manoj, accompanied by his wife Mounika, had come to pay respects at the memorials of his grandparents.

Speaking to the media, Manoj expressed his disbelief, saying, “Why do I need permission to visit my grandparents’ tombs? I have been visiting since childhood.” He assured that his visit was peaceful, but university authorities barred him, citing legal reasons.

Physical Altercation Between Groups

The situation escalated when a clash broke out between bouncers hired by the university and those accompanying Manoj. The groups engaged in physical fights and stone-pelting, creating chaos. Manoj accused the university of hiring bouncers from Delhi specifically to stop him. He said, “I alone am enough. I will chase them down one by one.”

Manoj’s Allegations of Manipulation

During the confrontation, Manoj made serious allegations against the university authorities. He claimed that his mother had been misled into signing legal documents she didn’t understand. He said, “They brainwashed my mother and made her sign papers without explaining them.”

Access Granted Under Escort

Later in the evening, the police allowed Manoj to enter the campus under strict escort. He and his wife paid respects at the memorials and left shortly after.

Manoj further accused the university of violating court orders by using rowdy elements on campus. Despite his frustration, he maintained that he stepped back out of respect for the authorities, not fear.

Meeting with HRD Minister

Before visiting the university, Manoj met HRD Minister Nara Lokesh at Naravaripalle, possibly to discuss related matters.

This incident highlights ongoing tensions within the Manchu family and their ties to Mohan Babu University. The allegations of “brainwashing” and legal disputes have drawn significant attention, raising questions about internal conflicts and university management.
