‘Kalki 2898 AD’ producer Aswini Dutt has confirmed two new film projects. Both of them will be produced by his daughters, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt, on Swapna Cinema.
The first of the two back-to-back projects will be spearheaded by Dulquer Salmaan. The banner has had a great working relationship with DQ, thanks to ‘Mahanati’ and ‘Sita Ramam’. The film might go on the floors after DQ completes ‘Lucky Bhaskar’.
The other film will be fronted by Roshan Meka, the son of actor Srikanth. This one will be released in 2025.
‘Kalki 2898 AD’, meanwhile, is going great guns at the box office. “My prediction is that the momentum will be maintained for another 7-10 days. I never compromised a bit on the budget. I told my daughters to offer whatever fees the actors ask for. The budget is upwards of Rs 600 Cr. It is not just Rs 600 Cr,” Dutt said today.
