In a recent chit-chat with Suma Kanakala, Jr NTR complained that a section of the audience has become extremely judgemental. He suggested that films are best watched without too many expectations.
“We have become too negative in life. Without any idea of what the content is, we call out films as bad. We are outright in our opinions. This has become a habit for us! We behave like metric experts. We are no longer plain. We watch films with too many calculations. Why have we lost our innocence?” the Nandamuri actor said.
Tarak’s critique of the audience is strange. If there are no expectations, there is no scope for evolution. Jr NTR would still be doing stupid films like ‘Dammu’ had it not been for the audience rejecting films like ‘Dammu’, ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, ‘Acharya’ and many other mediocre big-hero movies. If Jr NTR is currently doing likeable films like ‘RRR’ and potential blockbusters like the one with Prashanth Neel and ‘War 2’, it is because the audience have become demanding.
