Produced by Venugopal Reddy under Subhishi Entertainments, ‘Laggam’ is a project helmed by Ramesh Cheppala, acclaimed for directing ‘Bhimadevarapalli Branch.’ Sai Ronak and Ganvi Laxman take on the lead roles, with the esteemed Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad in a pivotal role.
The film’s launch took place today in Hyderabad, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad, sharing his thoughts on the occasion, remarked, “I am playing a role that no one will ever forget. ‘Laggam’ is going to be unique. It is special that I am doing such a great role in this movie. This is the best in my career since ‘Pelli Pusthakam.’ These stories will connect to all the Telugu people. The film is going to be a sumptuous meal for the audience.”
Director Ramesh Cheppala added, “Marriage is not the meeting of two families. It is a meeting of two minds. I am going to give a solid ‘dawat.’ Charan Arjun is providing the music for this film, and Bonthala Nageswara Reddy serves as the editor. Bal Reddy, the cinematographer from the film ‘Baby,’ is in charge of cinematography.”
Regular shooting for the film is scheduled to commence from February 5. Sai Ronak expressed, “With this movie, we are going to give the audience an unforgettable treat. Along with entertainment and emotions in this movie, the portrayal of the Telangana wedding culture and other aspects will remind everyone of their marriage. It will inspire unmarried people to get married.”
