Natural Star Nani’s union with star director Sekhar Kammula is almost confirmed, unverified media reports say. The actor-director duo is understood to have been in touch with each other to cement the project.
Nani wants to balance feel-good movies with actioners like ‘Dasara’ and ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’. Kammula, too, is upping his game by working with bigger heroes. If ‘Kubera’ becomes a hit, Kammula’s film with Nani is going to be made on a massive budget.
What is Nani working on?
Sailesh Kolanu-directed ‘HIT: The 3rd Case’ is Nani’s current focus. The film went on the floors on September 13th. It will be arriving at the cinemas on May 1, 2025. He is also going to team up with ‘OG’ director Sujeeth Reddy.

When is Kammula’s ‘Kubera’ arriving?
‘Kubera’, starring Dhanush, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna, should be a 2024 release. Since Kammula takes a long time for pre-production work, Nani’s film might go on the floors about a year from now.
