The superhero flick “HanuMan,” featuring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer in leading roles, achieved historic success, grossing over 300 crores and emerging as Tollywood’s biggest Sankranthi blockbuster. Directed by Prasanth Varma, this captivating film also proved to be a digital sensation.
Recently, “HanuMan” made its world television debut on Zee Telugu, garnering an impressive TRP of 10.26 on its initial airing. In an era where hit films often struggle on the small screen, “HanuMan” defied expectations. Despite concerns about its performance due to its extensive theatrical and OTT viewership, the superhero extravaganza surpassed expectations.
Featuring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Get Up Srinu, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles, the film was produced by Niranjan Reddy under the Primeshow Entertainment banner. “HanuMan” marked the debut of Prasanth Varma Cinematic Venture (PVCU). Presently, the director is engrossed in the pre-production of his next venture, starring Ranveer Singh, which will also be under PVCU’s banner.
