'Anaganaga Oka Kathala' from 'Sabari'

Excitement is mounting as the release of “Sabari,” an intense action thriller starring the talented Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, draws closer. Scheduled to hit theaters on May 3rd, the film has already started its promotional campaigns. As part of the buzz-building activities, the makers unveiled the first song from the film’s album today, titled “Anaganaga Oka Kathala,” with none other than Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose doing the honors.

Directed by Anil Katz and produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla, “Sabari” is presented by Maharshi Kondla under the banner of Maha Movies. The launch of the song marks another milestone in the film’s journey to the big screen.

During the unveiling ceremony, Chandrabose expressed his delight, saying, “This song felt special, and I’m thrilled to unveil it today. My wife, Suchitra, choreographed this song, which makes it even more special for me. I genuinely liked the song a lot. It beautifully captures the lovely bonding between mother and daughter. I was thoroughly impressed by the situational setting of the song and the overall vibe of it. I wish the very best to the cast and crew.”

Suchitra Chandrabose, the choreographer of the song, added, “I feel very happy to have my first choreographed song released by my husband. Thanks to producer Mahendra Nath for making it happen.”

Producer Mahendra Nath Kondla shared his thoughts, emphasizing the significance of the song in the film. “This song is a hallmark of our film. It adds to the visual presentation and complements the psychological thriller aspect of the movie. Varalaxmi’s performance in the film is of elite quality, and this is going to be an engrossing watch for everyone. I feel delighted to present the first song to you all today.”

The music for “Sabari” is composed by Gopi Sundar, with legendary singer KS Chitra lending her voice to the song. Rahman has penned the lyrics. The film is set to release in theaters in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

The ensemble cast includes Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Ganesh Venkatraman, Shashank, Mime Gopi, Sunayana, Rajashree Nair, Madhunandan, Rashika Bali (Bombay), Viva Raghava, Prabhu, Bhadram, Krishna Teja, Bindu Pagidimarri, Asrita Vemuganti, Harshini Koduru, Archana Anant, Pramodini Baby Niveksha, and Baby Kritika.
