South Indian actress Sai Pallavi was the guest of honour at Avila Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School, her alma mater, during its 58th Annual Day celebrations. The actress delivered a heartfelt speech that touched the hearts of students, parents, and staff. She expressed her gratitude to the school for shaping her values and career.
Sai Pallavi Reminisces About Her School Days
In a video shared on her fan page, Sai Pallavi is seen thanking the school for inviting her to the event. She fondly recalled her memories of the school, particularly the time spent in the auditorium. She shared how her teachers silently supported her passion for dance. She said, “I feel very overwhelmed to be here today. This auditorium holds so many memories for me. Back then, I would skip class to practice dancing here. I thought I was clever, but now I realize my teachers knew what I was doing and supported me.”
She also credited the school for helping her overcome stage fright at a young age. According to her, this experience played a significant role in her personal and professional growth.
Words of Wisdom for Students
Addressing the students, Sai Pallavi spoke about the challenges of today’s world. She highlighted how social media can be distracting but emphasized the importance of having supportive teachers and parents. She said, “To be in a school like this, with such supportive teachers and parents, is a blessing.”
She encouraged students to focus on discipline, empathy, and self-reflection. “At some point, you need to have a conversation with yourself to know who you truly are and who you want to be. Parents play a major role in guiding children toward this understanding,” she added.
Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Sai Pallavi will next appear in the Telugu film Thandel alongside Naga Chaitanya. Directed by Chandoo Mondetti, the movie is set to release on February 7, 2025.
