New Release Window Locked for Prabhas’ Fauzi: Film Skips August 2026 Slot

PAN-India star Prabhas’ much-awaited film Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, has witnessed a change in its release plans. Initially scheduled to hit theatres during the Independence Day weekend in August 2026, the makers have now decided to postpone the release.

As per the latest buzz, Fauzi is now aiming for a grand theatrical release during the Dussehra festival season. Prabhas has reportedly dedicated all his available dates to the film until the shoot is completed, underscoring the project’s importance. The team is said to be extremely confident about the output, promising audiences a visually rich and immersive cinematic experience.

Set in the 1940s, Fauzi is an intense action drama that delves into human emotions while exploring socio-political tensions during the British colonial era. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Imanvi as the female lead, with seasoned actors Jayapradha, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Chaitra J Achar in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar.

With high expectations riding on it, Fauzi is shaping up to be one of Prabhas’ most ambitious and content-driven projects.
