DSP’s Yellamma Glimpse: A Spellbinding Dose of Cultural Mysticism

After a long wait, Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is all set to make his acting debut as a lead hero. He teams up with director Venu Yeldandi, who won acclaim with Balagam, for the prestigious film Yellamma. The project is presented by Dil Raju and produced by Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

To mark the auspicious occasion of Makara Sankranti, the makers unveiled a striking concept glimpse that instantly grabbed attention. The visual opens with a neem leaf spiraling into the sky, gradually transforming into the Goddess amidst thundering rain. From this tempestuous setting emerges DSP, shirtless and fierce, carrying a drum strapped to his back, with a goat fluttering nearby. He is introduced as Parshi, a character rooted deeply in tradition and raw energy. The glimpse exudes an aura of pure cultural mysticism.

Rich textures of neem, haldi, and kumkum enhance the film’s rustic authenticity, while DSP’s rugged screen presence and pulsating rhythmic beats significantly elevate the impact. The glimpse has generated strong buzz and heightened expectations around the film.

The makers have also confirmed that Yellamma will release in all South Indian languages along with Hindi, ensuring a wide pan-Indian reach. Details regarding the rest of the cast and technical crew will be announced soon.
