MSG created a new benchmark on BookMyShow by recording the highest-ever bookings for a regional film, selling an impressive 488.32K tickets in the last 24 hours alone. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film has struck a chord with family audiences, drawing huge crowds across theatres.

At the worldwide box office, MSG reportedly collected a staggering ₹84 crore on Day 1, marking the biggest opening of Chiranjeevi’s illustrious career. This feat surpasses his previous record held by Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. An official confirmation from the makers is expected soon.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the release day. Unlike the usual Friday releases that benefit from advance weekend bookings, MSG hit the screens on a Monday and still managed to post extraordinary numbers. With bookings remaining strong for today and the holiday season beginning tomorrow, the film is poised to gain even greater momentum in the coming days.

In the overseas market, MSG is performing on par with its domestic success. In North America, the film has already crossed $1.7 million on Day 1 (including premieres) and is heading towards the biggest opening ever for a Chiranjeevi film by a wide margin.

With such a thunderous start, MSG has firmly announced the megastar’s box-office dominance once again.
