Brahmanandam Backs Gurram Paapireddy With Strong Optimism

The upcoming film Gurram Paapireddy, starring Naresh Agastya and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles, is directed by Murali Manohar and is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 19, 2025. After generating good buzz with its quirky promotional content, impactful teaser and trailer, and chartbuster songs, the makers held a grand pre-release press meet.

Amid the positive atmosphere surrounding the film, the team shared their strong belief in its success. Legendary comedian Brahmanandam graced the event and spoke enthusiastically about the project. He revealed that he plays an important role as a judge who narrates the story to the audience. Calling Gurram Paapireddy a refreshing and unique film, Brahmanandam praised director Murali Manohar for presenting the story in a contemporary manner that resonates with today’s audiences.

He further highlighted Yogi Babu’s performance, stating that his role would be a major attraction in the film. Although they do not share combination scenes, Brahmanandam noted that Yogi Babu has delivered hilarious comedy. He also appreciated the performances of Jeevan Kumar, Rajkumar Kasireddy, and Vamsidhar Kosigi, crediting the director for extracting strong performances from the cast.

Expressing complete confidence in the film’s success, Brahmanandam said the producers have made Gurram Paapireddy without compromising on quality. He urged audiences to support new-age films made by newcomers, adding that such encouragement will help the industry grow and provide opportunities for more meaningful cinema.

Apart from the lead cast, the film features Yogi Babu, Prabhas Sreenu, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Jeevan Kumar, Vamsidhar Kosigi, John Vijay, Motta Rajendran, and others in key roles. The film is produced by Venu Saddi, Amar Bura, and Jayakanth (Bobby), under the presentation of Dr. Sandhya Goli.
