Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan attended a felicitation ceremony for newly appointed police constables. The event witnessed a remarkable incident that quickly drew widespread attention.
During the program, a tribal youth named Baburao, who was appointed as a police constable, shared his journey and took the opportunity to place a heartfelt request before the Chief Minister. He appealed for the construction of a road connecting his native village.
Responding swiftly, the responsibility of addressing the request was entrusted to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who was present on the stage. Baburao revealed that he hailed from Tenumulabanda village under Devarapalli Panchayat in G.K. Veethi Mandal of Alluri Sitaramaraju district.
Taking immediate action, Pawan Kalyan directed the concerned officials to prepare estimates and secure approvals without delay. Acting on his instructions, the administration promptly prepared estimates for the construction of a 2-kilometer BT road from Tenumulabanda to Eluguratibanda, with an estimated cost of Rs. 2 crore.
Impressed by the swift execution, the Deputy Chief Minister instantly approved the proposal. Following his orders, the District Collector granted administrative approval as well.
Notably, the road project was sanctioned before the meeting concluded, highlighting the rapid decision-making and efficient governance of the NDA-led government. The incident has since been praised as a powerful example of responsive leadership and people-centric administration.
