Haunted by a recurring dream of a child under attack, Shiva soon learns that his destiny is intertwined with Dhana Pisaachini (Sonakshi Sinha), a demoness who guards hidden wealth. As he uncovers shocking truths about his origin, the mystery deepens — leading to a supernatural confrontation that changes everything.

Sonakshi Sinha’s commanding presence: Makes an impact in her Telugu debut, particularly in the second half.
Interesting concept: The link to Indian folklore adds freshness to the supernatural setup.
Negatives
Weak screenplay: Despite an intriguing premise, the execution lacks grip and coherence.
Poor first half: Random sequences, a forced love track, and bad editing ruin the flow.
Shallow second half: The flashback starts well but fails to develop meaningful depth.
Terrible climax and VFX: The visual effects and rushed ending dilute the emotional and supernatural impact.
Forgettable music and dull production values.
Technicalities
Direction: Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal fail to translate a solid idea into an engaging film.
Cinematography: Average visuals with poor CGI integration.
Editing: Disjointed and clumsy, hampering narrative flow.
Music & BGM: Lacks memorability and fails to elevate key scenes.
Production Values: Below par for a supernatural thriller.
Final Verdict
Jatadhara tries to be an ambitious supernatural mystery rooted in Indian folklore but ends up as a dull and directionless film. Despite Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha’s sincere efforts, weak storytelling, sloppy VFX, and ineffective direction make this one a disappointing watch.
