The Andhra Pradesh government continues to take strong steps toward employment generation and education sector development. After the successful completion of the Mega DSC program, which enabled over 16,000 individuals to secure teaching positions across the state, the government is now gearing up for the next major recruitment drive.
Minister Nara Lokesh conducted a review meeting yesterday with senior officials from the School Education, Intermediate, and Higher Education departments. During the session, he emphasized the government’s commitment to regular teacher recruitment through the District Selection Committee (DSC) and directed officials to begin arrangements accordingly.
Lokesh also announced that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted in the last week of November 2025 as part of the recruitment process.
In a key update, Lokesh revealed that the new DSC notification will be released in January 2026, with the recruitment and appointment process to be completed by March 2026.
This update comes less than a month after the completion of the previous Mega DSC, underscoring the coalition government’s proactive and consistent approach to providing employment opportunities.
If the 2026 DSC is executed as planned, it will further enhance the state’s record in job fulfilment, workforce development, and education system strengthening, reaffirming Andhra Pradesh’s position as a frontrunner in educational reforms.
