Mahesh Babu in Legal Trouble Again Over Land Scam

Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu now faces fresh notices in connection with a major real estate fraud involving Sai Surya Developers, a Hyderabad-based company he once promoted. The Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission named Mahesh Babu as a respondent in a new complaint linked to the ongoing land scam. This development follows the Enforcement Directorate (ED) issuing earlier notices to him in a related money laundering case.

Fresh Trouble for Mahesh Babu in Land Fraud Case

Mahesh Babu reportedly collected Rs 3.4 crore for promoting Sai Surya Developers. Now, multiple customers have accused the company of cheating and have brought the actor into the controversy. A doctor and another individual recently filed the latest complaint, claiming that the company used Mahesh Babu’s photo and promotional materials to lure them into buying plots.

They said the company promised legally approved plots in Balapur village, but the layout never existed. The victims paid Rs 34.80 lakh each, only to later discover that the plots lacked all government approvals. When they demanded a refund, Managing Director Kancharla Satish Chandra Gupta returned only Rs 15 lakh to each buyer, after delaying it for a long time.

Consumer Forum Summons Mahesh Babu

The complainants approached the Ranga Reddy District Consumer Forum, holding Mahesh Babu accountable for his influential role in the campaign. The forum sent notices to Sai Surya Developers, MD Satish Chandra Gupta, and Mahesh Babu, naming the actor as the third respondent. The commission directed all three parties to appear before it, either in person or through legal counsel, on Monday, July 8.

Legal Heat Grows Amid Big-Budget Film Shoot

Amid these legal issues, Mahesh Babu continues working on a mega-budget film with director S.S. Rajamouli. The team has already started filming and plans to shoot the next major schedule in Kenya, where they will cover most of the action scenes. Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu aim to deliver world-class output and have begun intense preparations.

Mahesh Babu has also started training specifically for this role, which will showcase him in a brand-new look. Despite the legal pressure, the team remains committed to completing the film on schedule and releasing it on a massive scale in the coming years.
