Adivi Sesh’s much-anticipated sequel Goodachari 2 (G2) continues to generate immense buzz in Tollywood, keeping fans excited for its big-screen arrival. During the recent HIT 3 event, actor Vishwak Sen dropped a major hint about the film’s release timeline, adding more fuel to the excitement.

He revealed that Adivi Sesh plans to release the film in June 2025. Sesh smiled without denying the comment, strongly suggesting that the team is indeed targeting that window. Although the makers have not yet issued an official confirmation, the update has certainly thrilled Tollywood enthusiasts.

A Glimpse into the Highly Awaited Goodachari 2 (G2)

Adivi Sesh returns with Goodachari 2, the sequel to his 2018 spy thriller Goodachari, which won him wide praise for his gripping performance. Director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi takes charge of G2, promising a story packed with bigger action scenes and deeper plot twists.

Unlike the first film, which maintained a grounded tone, G2 aims to deliver a grander cinematic experience with higher production values and a wider global setting.

Key Cast and Crew of G2

The team has invested a massive ₹100 crore into the project to ensure top-notch visuals and high-quality action sequences. Adivi Sesh reprises his role as the Indian spy, bringing his signature intensity once again. Emraan Hashmi steps into a key role, marking his much-awaited debut in Telugu cinema.

Wamiqa Gabbi, who impressed audiences in Baby John, plays the female lead opposite Sesh. The film also features a strong ensemble cast, including Madhu Shalini, Prakash Raj, and Jisshu Sengupta.

People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts, and AK Entertainments are backing the film, while Sricharan Pakala composes the music. The story unfolds across several international locations such as India, the UAE, and Europe, giving G2 a truly global backdrop.

The Journey to the Big Screen

Adivi Sesh announced plans for G2 back in 2018. However, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the project and pushed it into delays. Despite these setbacks, the team kickstarted principal photography in December 2023 and remains committed to delivering the movie in 2025.

Director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi promises that G2 will not only continue the thrilling saga from the first film but will also raise the bar with more intense action and a gripping storyline.
