On ZEE5, it amassed over 300 million streaming minutes, proving its strong digital appeal.

The television premiere of Sankranthiki Vasthunam reaffirmed its popularity. The movie scored 15.92 TRP on Zee Telugu SD, 2.3 TRP on Zee Telugu HD. Total TRP: 18.22. This is a remarkable achievement considering the film was also available on OTT at the same time. The movie’s strong family appeal contributed to its massive television audience.
Plot and Star Cast
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunam is an action-comedy about former IPS officer YD Raju, played by Venkatesh Daggubati. He leads a peaceful life in his village with his wife until a high-profile kidnapping case forces him back into action. His ex-girlfriend, the investigating officer, seeks his help, leading to chaotic and hilarious situations when his suspicious wife joins them.
The movie features a stellar cast including Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Naresh, Sai Kumar, Upendra Limaye, and VTV Ganesh. The music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, and the film is produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
Sequel and Future Projects
