In January 2025, Ravi Mohan officially dropped his stage name ‘Jayam Ravi’ and requested fans and the media to address him by his birth name. He shared a heartfelt statement, explaining that this change reflects his personal and professional growth.
Alongside his new identity, he also launched his own production company, Ravi Mohan Studios. He stated that this studio aims to support emerging talent and bring meaningful stories to the screen.
Upcoming Projects
Before starting his directorial venture, Ravi Mohan will be seen in Kadhalikka Neramillai, directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, where he stars alongside Nithya Menen. The romantic comedy is loosely inspired by the 2010 Hollywood film The Switch.
Additionally, he plays a politician in Karathey Babu and a pivotal role in Parasakthi, a film directed by Sudha Kongara. Parasakthi stars Sivakarthikeyan and is reportedly based on Tamil Nadu’s anti-Hindi agitation movement. Ravi Mohan is expected to play the antagonist in this historical drama.
