Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s upcoming action drama has been officially titled Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi. The title was announced on Women’s Day with a powerful first-look poster. The film, marking Kalyan Ram’s 21st project, features veteran actress Vijayashanthi in a significant role as an IPS officer.
A Tribute to Vijayashanthi’s Iconic Role
The title Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi is inspired by Vijayashanthi’s famous character Vyjayanthi IPS from the 1990 blockbuster Kartavyam. The poster showcases Kalyan Ram and Vijayashanthi in fierce avatars, symbolizing strength and resilience. The tagline on the poster reads, “Every woman nurtures a son. Vyjayanthi IPS nurtures an army called Arjun.”
Star Cast & Crew
The film features Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead and Bollywood actor Sohail Khan as the antagonist. Srikanth and Prithiveeraj will also play key roles. The film is directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, known for Raja Cheyyi Vesthe. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, the talent behind Kantara’s soundtrack.
