The Telangana government issued an official Government Order (GO), signed by Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, announcing Dil Raju’s appointment for a two-year term. As the Chairman of TFDC, Dil Raju will enhance the growth of the film industry in the state. His role also involves acting as a bridge between the Telugu film industry and the state government, ensuring filmmakers receive the necessary support.
Dil Raju’s appointment follows extensive discussions within the government, which recognized his vast experience and industry knowledge. Support for the Congress Party
In the past, rumors suggested Dil Raju might run for a Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) seat under the Congress Party. While he did not directly contest, reports indicate he supported the Congress party behind the scenes. Now that the Congress party holds power in Telangana, the government has entrusted him with this significant role.
Dil Raju’s Upcoming Projects
Dil Raju’s work as a producer continues to thrive. His most anticipated film, Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, will release on January 10, 2025. He also has other major projects lined up, including Sankranthiki Vastunnam with Venkatesh and Thammudu with Nithiin, both set to release soon.
