Producer KE Gnanavelraja, in his latest interview, revealed that he has asked distributors to convey to the exhibitors of ‘Kanguva’ to reduce the volume by two points. This comes in the wake of feedback that the background score is extremely loud.
“This is a film set in the ancient era. We felt that it needs a certain soundscape. But since the feedback is otherwise, we have asked the exhibitors to reduce the volume. By the evening of Friday, the change will be implemented,” the producer said.
He also added that ‘Kanguva’ is on its way to becoming the biggest grosser in Suriya’s career by the end of this week. “The feedback from the audience has been generally good. Footfalls are going up, actually. Except for the first twenty minutes, nobody has complained about anything else in the movie. DSP’s songs have been loved,” the producer said.
Director Siva will do ‘Kanguva 2’ after completing a movie with Tamil superstar Ajith.
