Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, ‘Lucky Baskhar’, slated for October 31st. In a recent interview, she suggested that Sumathi is her most likeable character ever.
The ‘Guntur Kaaram’ actress shared her insights into her character, Sumathi, a woman who prioritizes love over material possessions. She drew inspiration from real-life observations of greed and the complexities of human nature. The actress also acknowledged the significant contributions of the technical crew, including cinematographer Nimish Ravi and music composer GV Prakash Kumar, in elevating the film’s visual and auditory experience.
The actress highlighted the collaborative spirit on the set, praising her co-star Dulquer Salmaan for his dedication and professionalism. She also commended the production design team for their meticulous recreation of 1980s Bombay.

With ‘Lucky Baskhar’, Meenakshi aims to undo some of the damage done by her previous flops, especially ‘Khiladi’ and ‘The GOAT’. She shared that Lucky Baskhar will connect with everyone as most Indian families are middle-class and the film presents it with utmost sincerity and honesty. The period con-man drama is directed by Venky Atluri.
On November 22nd, she will be seen as Vishwak Sen’s heroine in ‘Mechanic Rocky’. Varun Tej’s ‘Matka’ will be released on November 14th.
