Geetha Arts Bets on Theatrical Success for ‘Thandel
There is a space for one or two medium-range movies in this context. Tollywood media speculations are rife that Naga Chaitanya-Sai Pallavi’s ‘Thandel’ is that movie. Geetha Arts might not take chances, though. This film is crucial for the banner, considering they have invested Rs 75 Cr and recovery from OTT must not be great either. So, theatrical success is essential for them. They might choose to release the film after Sankranthi and before Summer.

Release Clash: Sharwanand’s ‘Nari Nari Naduma Murari’ Faces Uncertaint
A new rumour in the town is that Sharwanand’s ‘Nari Nari Naduma Murari’ with ‘Samajavaragamana’ maker Ram Abbaraju is up for Sankranthi release. But it is likely that it will not be released, given that Sundeep Kishan’s ‘Mazaka’, which too is produced by AK Entertainments like Sharwa’s film, is already scheduled for Sankranthi. While Sundeep Kishan has no history of scoring a Sankranthi hit, Sharwanand has – in the form of ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’ and ‘Express Raja’.
