On Wednesday, leaked footage from the sets of Rajinikanth’s ‘Coolie’ went viral on social media. The footage involves Akkineni Nagarjuna. Even Nag’s dialogue in the violent scene could be heard.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has reacted to the episode with a tinge of sadness. He said that the toil of many for two months went down the drain.
“Two months of hard work by many people have gone in vain because of one recording. I humbly request everyone not to engage in such practices, as they spoil the overall experience. Thank you,” the director of films like Vikram and Leo wrote on X.
Coolie, produced by Kalanithi Maran, also features Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Upendra. The film has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film will feature Nagarjuna in an action role.
