Vetrimaaran’s union with Jr NTR: Certain but indefinite

Vetrimaaran's union with Jr NTR: Certain but indefinite

In 2023, Kollywood director Vetrimaaran stated that he called on Jr NTR after the release of his acclaimed Tamil movie ‘Asuran’. More than a year after he made the utterance, Jr NTR has opened up about it.

On Tuesday, Tarak was in Chennai to promote ‘Devara’. On the occasion, he was asked the most natural question: ‘When are you going to do a straight Tamil film?’

The ‘RRR’ actor’s answer was interesting. He said, “Whenever Vetrimaaran and I collaborate. And it will be in Tamil and then dubbed into Telugu.”

So, it appears that, years after their first meeting, the actor-director duo is still serious about collaborating on a movie. Their union is certain but a definite timeline is not there as yet.

‘Devara’ is Koratala Siva’s magnum opus. It will arrive at the cinemas on September 27th in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Speaking in Chennai, Jr NTR said that it is his biggest film ever. Anirudh Ravichander recalled a hashtag trend floated by the actor’s fans urging the makers to rope him in for ‘Devara’. The film’s production design is by Sabu Cyril.
