‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ stars Natural Star Nani as a vigilante. Producers DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari have struck gold from pre-release deals, both theatrical and non-theatrical.
The value of theatrical deals alone is estimated to be Rs 45 Cr across languages. This is the best in the career of the ‘Dasara’ actor.
If the figure being quoted by trade reports is accurate, Nani’s new release needs to make Rs 46 Cr (Share) for its distributors to breakeven.
For perspective, ‘Hi Nanna’ last year earned Rs 35 Cr (worldwide share). For ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ to be deemed a hit in the Telugu States, it needs to collect Rs 31 Cr. What is at stake is obvious.

Writer-director Vivek Athreya is supported by Murali G’s cinematography and Jakes Bejoy’s music. Karthika Srinivas’ editing and GM Sekhar’s production, Ram-Lakshman duo and Real Satish’s action choreography and the ensemble cast, offer enough reasons to root for the film. The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sai Kumar, Vishnu Oi, Subhalekha Sudhakar and others.
