Producer TG Vishwa Prasad has confessed that Ravi Teja’s ‘Mr. Bachchan’ flopping so badly is not comprehensible even though its second half has many weaknesses.
In his latest interview, he acknowledged that the script is not up to the mark. “I liked the first half because of the references to old Hindi songs. I come from the old generation and therefore, I enjoyed them as an audience member. The second half is where too many issues cropped up; so many things went wrong there. I don’t agree that the whole movie was bad. It was a rare thing that we got an extended weekend at the cinemas. An entertainer like ‘Mr. Bachchan’ shouldn’t have done this badly,” the producer said.

“The trimmed version (minus 13 minutes) is better than the original version of ‘Mr. Bachchan’,” he added.
Vishwa Prasad also mildly suggested that director Harish Shankar’s controversy-chasing pre-release interviews spoiled it for the movie.
