The release date of James Cameron’s sequel to Avatar 2: The Way of Water, has been announced at Disney 2023 Expo, a fan event. It will be released on 19th December, 2025. The title of the latest Avatar series is Avatar: Fire and Ash.
James Cameron didn’t reveal any footage except to showcase the concept art of them.
“You’ll see a lot more pandora that you never saw before,” Cameron said. “It’s an insane adventure and a feast for the eyes, but it’s also got very high emotional stakes, more than ever before,” Cameron said during the presentation. “We’re going into really challenging territory for all the characters you know and love.”
Avatar: Fire and Ash will continue following the events of Avatar; The Way of Water. These two films were supposed to be a single movie. However, during the writing process, James Cameroon felt that it must be split up.
