The Teaser for ‘Mr. Bachchan’ was released on July 28th at a national multiplex in Hyderabad. While Ravi Teja skipped the event, director Harish Shankar and heroine Bhagyashri Borse made their presence felt.
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad said that ‘Mr. Bachchan’ is getting released in theatres in the best possible holiday season – on August 15th. “We will surely hold premieres on the 14th. We are yet to zero in on the number of shows, though,” the People Media Factory head said.
Harish Shankar said that ‘Mr. Bachchan’ has its story set in the late 1980s and early 1990s. “You can expect a lot of nostalgic moments throughout the first half. In this film, Ravi Teja has done a lot of things that he has not done before. ‘Mirapakai’ was my previous outing with him. In every respect, ‘Mr. Bachchan’ is one hundred times better,” the filmmaker said.
Bhagyashri Borse said that doing the film was a joyride. Jagapathi Babu is playing the chief antagonist.
