Both families have known each other for some time, but the decision for a December wedding aligns with Sindhu’s preparation for the upcoming season. The couple will celebrate with a reception in Hyderabad on December 24. After the festivities, Sindhu will quickly return to training.

Venkata Datta Sai, Sindhu’s fiancé, is a senior IT professional and the Executive Director at Posidex Technologies.
