Lavanya reported that the account shared false allegations, obscene remarks, and insults via posts and comments, causing personal distress and reputation damage. She highlighted how these attacks aimed to tarnish her private life and public image, urging police to trace the operator and remove the content.
Police Action Underway
Authorities registered a case under Section 67 of the IT Act and Sections 78-79 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Cyber Crime officials have launched an investigation, using digital forensics to identify the culprit behind the ongoing campaign.
