Pawan Kalyan’s period action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu will finally hit screens on May 9, 2025, after years of delays and high anticipation. The makers, who had earlier announced this date, have now reconfirmed the release amid recent speculations.
This big-budget Telugu film faced multiple delays due to production issues and Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments. Now, the team has reassured fans through social media that everything is on track and the film will release as scheduled.
Production in Final Gear for Grand Summer Release
After skipping its initial March 2025 release, the film sparked fresh doubts when Pawan Kalyan’s son, Mark Shankar, sustained injuries in a fire accident. However, the makers swiftly shut down all rumours. They clarified that teams across departments are working at full speed on re-recording, dubbing, and VFX to meet the May deadline.
Director A.M. Jyothi Krishna, who took over from Krish Jagarlamudi mid-project, has been actively overseeing post-production and handling the remaining shoot over the last seven months. His dedicated leadership is ensuring the film wraps up without any more delays.
Storyline, Cast, and Technical Brilliance
In Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Pawan Kalyan portrays a rebellious warrior determined to steal the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals. This role stands out as one of his boldest and most intense performances. The film delivers a gripping story infused with action, emotion, and grandeur.
Bobby Deol plays a fearsome Mughal emperor, while Nidhhi Agerwal, Sathyaraj, Jisshu Sengupta, Sunil, and Nasser add strong presence and energy to the ensemble cast.
On the technical front, Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani is scoring the soundtrack, which has already created a buzz. Cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and art director Thota Tharani are crafting a visually rich world full of historical detail and cinematic excellence.
A Pan-India Release in Two Parts
The makers will release the film in two parts, starting with Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part-1: Sword vs. Spirit. The film will open in theatres across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With a massive overseas release also in the works, the film is shaping up to be one of 2025’s biggest pan-India blockbusters.
Producer A. Dayakar Rao is backing the film, while legendary AM Rathnam is presenting it under the Mega Surya Productions banner. Together, they aim to deliver a cinematic spectacle that will leave a lasting mark at the box office.
