From Allu Arjun to Christopher Nolan? Sai Abhyankhar Is Thinking BIG!

Sai Abhyankhar is only 21, but his ambitions are already on a global scale. The young music composer has revealed that one of his biggest dreams is to work with Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan.

In a recent interview, Sai spoke about an AI-generated video that fans had once created, showing Nolan seemingly talking about his music. Although the video was not real, Sai said he would love to see such a moment become reality someday. For a composer who is still in the early stages of his career, openly setting his sights on Nolan certainly shows how big he is thinking.

Sai’s journey has been remarkably quick. He became a sensation with songs like Katchi Sera and Aasa Kooda in 2024, before making his entry into films. His work in Balti and Dude helped him establish himself as one of the most exciting young music talents in Tamil cinema. Oorum Blood from Dude went on to cross 100 million views, giving his popularity another major boost.

The success of Suriya Karuppu has now taken Sai’s career to another level. The film received a strong response, with Sai’s music becoming one of the talking points. Naturally, the opportunities coming his way have also become much bigger.

And his current lineup proves just how fast he is moving.

Sai is composing music for the much-awaited Allu Arjun and Atlee collaboration Raaka. He is also working on the Dhanush–Rajkumar Periasamy project and Karthi’s Marshall. Apart from these, reports suggest that he is associated with Raghava Lawrence’s Benz and another upcoming Suriya project.

What makes this rise even more impressive is the speed at which it has happened. It usually takes several years for a young composer to land projects featuring stars of this scale. Sai, however, has managed to enter that league at just 21.

Now, Raaka could become a major turning point for him. With Allu Arjun’s massive screen presence and Atlee’s trademark style of commercial filmmaking, the background score has to deliver on a huge scale. Sai has already indicated that he wants to create an international sound for the film and is exploring the possibility of collaborating with foreign musicians.

If he manages to pull it off, the project could further establish Sai as one of the most promising young composers in Indian cinema.

Christopher Nolan may be a dream for now, but Sai Abhyankhar’s career trajectory shows that this 21-year-old is certainly not thinking small.
