Film hero and Sanjosh Foundation founder Sanjosh said that youth should actively participate and excel in sports. The Ramannagudem Premier League cricket tournament, organized in Eturnagaram to encourage youth to stay away from bad habits and focus on sports, concluded grandly on Wednesday.

The tournament was organized under the inspiring slogan “Say No to Drugs – Love Sports” and was conducted magnificently under the leadership of prominent film hero and Sanjosh Foundation founder Sanjosh from Mulugu district.

Thrilling victory for Venkatapuram Hunters

A total of 8 top teams from the agency areas of Venkatapuram, Wazeedu, Eturnagaram, and Mangapet mandals participated in the tournament. The matches, from league stages to the final, were highly exciting and competitive.

In the thrilling final match held on Wednesday, Venkatapuram Hunters displayed outstanding performance and emerged as tournament champions. The runner-up team also gave tough competition.

Hero Sanjosh attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest and presented prizes to the winners.

• Second Prize: ₹15,000 cash to the runner-up team

Speaking on the occasion, Hero Sanjosh advised today’s youth not to become addicted to harmful habits like drugs and ruin their bright future. He said sports are highly beneficial for physical and mental well-being and added that the tournament was organized to bring out the hidden talent of rural sportspersons.
