Niharika’s New Film #PEP2 Takes Off with Fantasy, Fun and a Star Cast

Mega daughter Niharika Konidela officially launched her second film project, tentatively titled #PEP2, under her production banner Pink Elephant Pictures. After scoring a hit with Committee Kurrollu, she now steps into her next venture with fresh energy, a youthful cast, and a unique fantasy-comedy concept.

She hosted the grand launch ceremony at Glass House, Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Top film personalities like Nag Ashwin, Mallidi Vassishta, and Kalyan Shankar attended the event and showed their support. Nag Ashwin gave the first clap, Mallidi Vassishta switched on the camera, and Kalyan Shankar directed the first shot, giving the team a powerful start.

Lead Cast and Genre

PEP2 brings together fantasy and humor in a refreshing new way. The film features Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles. This new on-screen pair adds freshness to the project. The story combines magical elements with comedy, aiming to entertain audiences across all age groups.

Talented Team Behind #PEP2

Director Manasa Sharma not only directs the film but also wrote the story. She collaborated with Mahesh Uppala, who crafted the screenplay and dialogues. Anudeep Dev composes the music, bringing an energetic soundtrack to life. Raju Edurolu handles the cinematography, and Anwar Ali takes charge of the editing table to shape the final cut.

Ramanjaneyulu designs the film’s production look, while Pulla Vishnu Vardhan leads the art direction. Sandhya Sabbavarapu creates the costumes, and Vijay choreographs the action sequences to add cinematic excitement. Manyam Ramesh leads the production efforts as the Executive Producer.

Ticket Factory manages the film’s digital marketing, while Naidu Surendra Kumar and Phani Kandukuri of Beyond Media handle public relations.

Ensemble Cast and Shooting Schedule

The film features a star-studded supporting cast, including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, Sukwinder Singh, Aruna Bikshu, Ramana Bhargav, Vasu Inturi, Rohini (Jabardasth), and Rohan (#90s). This talented lineup adds strong comic and dramatic value to the fantasy setup.

The team will begin shooting on July 15 in and around Hyderabad.
