The youthful producers, Mandalapu Srinivasa Rao and Medikonda Srinivasa Rao, collaboratively present “E Chota Tushanna” under the banner of S Productions, directed by Pasalapudi SV. Introducing new talents, Prashanth and Ambika Multani, as the lead actors, these budding producers shared insights about the film on the eve of its release (scheduled for the 17th of this month). Here are their thoughts!
Hailing from Bodilavidu village in Guntur district and Pullalacheruvu village in Prakasam district, we have been friends since childhood and currently work as software professionals. The idea of venturing into filmmaking struck us during the COVID-19 lockdown as we immersed ourselves in quality films on OTT platforms. With the seed of a good story planted, we discussed our plans with our friend Mr. Chaudhary, who connected us with director Pasalapudi S. Thus, the journey of “Ye Chota Tushanna” began.
The moment director Pasalapudi SV narrated the script, we sensed its excellence and promptly initiated the filmmaking process. After conducting auditions in Rajahmundry, we selected a cast of talented newcomers.
Prashant and Ambika Multani’s performances as the lead actors are remarkably natural, reminiscent of familiar faces from our neighboring villages. The entire cast has done justice to the story.
Tarun Rana Pratap’s music stands out as the film’s main attraction, with two songs already gaining applause from the audience. Cinematographers Srikanth Marka and Anil PG Raj captured the essence of the village beautifully. Editor Srivarka’s work is commendable, and Kumar Picchuka crafted the story, making the narrative a standout feature.
Set against a rural backdrop, the film’s storyline is refreshingly novel, with an unexpected twist in the last 20 minutes. Director S.V. concluded the film in a unique manner, leaving an indelible mark. We are confident that audiences will appreciate the film, and we anticipate a successful start to our journey as producers. Under the direction of Vizag Shankar, the film is releasing in two states. Filmmaking is our passion, and we look forward to making a name for ourselves in this field. Let’s meet again in the world of cinema, where we are determined to earn a reputation as esteemed creators!
